Ronen Mendelovitz (assistant teacher)

“You don’t live only once. You live every day, so make the most of it.” – Ronen Mendelovitz

What inspires you to be an assistant teacher?
On my first day of the training programme Coaching and Counselling Year 1, I encountered a myriad of new individuals, each at a different stage of their lives. It was daunting, and at times, I felt overwhelmed. However, the guidance and support provided by my teacher and the class assistant created a safe space for growth and learning.

Now, having completed my own journey, I am honored to be in a position to guide, support, and assist students in creating a similar nurturing environment. I am confident that my guiding and mentoring skills can be effectively utilised to empower students and contribute to their success.

I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to participate in this enlightening experience once again, drawing upon the knowledge and wisdom I have gained through my own experience as a student.

About me
Throughout my nearly two-decade career in the People Development field, as a trainer, facilitator, and learning program manager across diverse industries and organisations, I have consistently observed the inherent potential within individuals to effect positive change and achieve meaningful fulfillment, both personally and professionally.

My professional journey has taken me to esteemed organisations, ranging from startups to globally recognised multinational corporations. In these roles, I have spearheaded the development of comprehensive training programmes and learning journeys, facilitating and delivering impactful learning experiences that have enhanced the productivity, teamwork dynamics, and organisational success.

Why have you chosen the ACC and what did the training bring you?
In pursuit of enhancing my expertise in career coaching and enabling individuals to navigate their career development and achieve a harmonious work-life balance, I sought a comprehensive programme that would challenge my professional growth. I am delighted to have discovered the ACC programme.

Throughout the programme, I have gained valuable insights into its thoroughness, rigor, and reflective nature. The programme strikes a unique balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application, emphasising deep self-work and self-reflection. It underscores the importance of personal development before providing support to others.

Who is my hero and why?
My personal heroes are each of my coaching clients who have made progress, overcome challenges, or are currently making strides in their lives.

Life often presents us with difficult circumstances, and witnessing how individuals can navigate and overcome these obstacles with the right guidance is incredibly rewarding. As the clients are the ones in who steer their own journeys, the credit for their success belongs to them. This realisation instills in me a deep sense of admiration for their resilience and determination, recognising them as the true heroes of their own stories.
