SNRO – Dutch Register for Education

The Dutch Register for Education (SNRO), in Dutch: Stichting Nederlands Register voor Opleidingen, is an independent institute for quality assurance of professional education in the private educational sector.

Our training programme Coaching and Counselling Year 1 has been accredited by the SNRO, as of March 1st, 2022.

What does independent accreditation mean?

Accreditation means that an independent party assesses whether training programmes and organisations meet certain standards. This involves assessing whether the programmes are at Higher Vocational Education (Dutch HBO) level and whether the level of graduated students meets the professional profile for coaches/counsellors. In addition, the organisation is examined for its professionalism and quality standards.

The SNRO monitors:

  • How we integrate our vision on education in the training programmes.
  • Whether the level of our training programmes is at Higher Vocational Education (Dutch HBO) level.
  • Improving and monitoring our quality.

When will you receive a diploma with the SNRO logo?

If your previous education was at least on Higher Vocational Education (Dutch HBO) level, you will receive a Coaching and Counselling Year 1 diploma with the SNRO accreditation logo, after successfully completing the programme (NB: this only applies to our training programmes that have started in the spring of 2022 and onwards).

If you would like to know whether your previous education equals Dutch HBO level, you can visit the website of the NUFFIC (the Dutch organisation for internationalisation in education).
